Legrand Software have today announced the release of 5.1.23. The update includes wide range of new features. The update is for both Professional and Corporate Editions.

Highlights include;

• Signigicant enhancments to TAPI integration functions.
• Added the ability to re-activate closed marketing campaigns
• Email mail merge function extend to operate for all send email screens
• Search functions ‘Lastname contains‘ and ‘Lastname starts with‘ have been added to the QuickList section in the Contacts module. These provide fast lookup of Contacts and require fewer mouse-clicks than performing a QuickSearch on the lastname field. New! Similar functions ‘Company name contains‘ and ‘Company name starts with‘ have been added to the QuickList section in the Companies module.While the database can contain hundreds of thousands of records the user interface in Legrand CRM will not allow the simultaneous display of more than 10,000 records in the Companies list and Contacts list.    The ‘All Records‘ button will now no longer display if the number of records exceeds the 10,000 list limit.

• Web Capture Module extended to provude subscribe and unsubscribe functions.

• New! The Web Capture module now supports
  newsletter Subscribe/Unsubscribe function
• New! Filtering function in Web Capture lets you
  filter web records by type: web lead, sales lead, unsubscribe and spam
• New! The Web Capture module now provides more
  control over the processing of a web lead: search the database for similar
  contact or company records and decide how the web lead is to be processed:
  (1) create new company and contact records, or
  (2) create a new contact record but assign it to an existing company, or
  (3) assign to an existing contact record.
• New! Import wizard to import Activity records
• New! The phone interface has been enhanced for
  better support of International dialling.   In User Preferences
  you can now specify the international access code for your location (e.g.
  011, 0011 or 00, to just mention a few) and Legrand CRM will automatically
  handle the formatting.
• New! Custom Menus have been expanded beyond
  internet or intranet URLs and now also provide the ability to access network
  folders and the ability to invoke any external application while passing up
  to five parameters.
  This enhancement significantly enhances the ability for 3rd part
  integrators to create custom applications that can be invoked from within
  Legrand CRM.
• New! Search functions ‘Lastname contains‘
  and ‘Lastname starts with‘ have been added to the QuickList section
  in the Contacts module
• New! Search functions ‘Company Name contains‘
  and ‘Company Name starts with‘ have been added to the QuickList
  section in the Companies module
• New! You can now specify the next Opportunity
  Reference Number in System Administration
• New! Multiple delete of Activity Notes has been
  added
• New! Link activity notes created “En-masse” to a
  customer service
• New! Added menu selection in the Opportunity
  module to send an email to the Opportunity’s main Contact.
• New! The email configuration now allows
  you to specify a SMTP port number in case your email server does not use the
  default port 25.
• New! The ability to re-Activate a closed
  marketing campaign has been added.
• New! The Marketing Campaigns module now has a
  menu dropdown at the top left of its screen, similar to all the other
  modules.
• New! Additional mail merge codes and merge types
  have been created to display Start and End times of appointments with time
  zone offset.

  Note: the SQL Administrator will need to update the DataDict records in
  the database

• New! The User listing in Calendar is now sorted
  on Lastname and includes the user’s Team name (if Team option is activated)
• New! Added support for MYOB Singapore ODBC
  driver
• Change: When assigning a task or calendar event
  to another staff member the email notification now includes the notes for
  that task or calendar event
• Change: The Legrand Reporting tool now includes
  a library of over 25 reports.
• Change: The Department field in Contacts screen
  is now an unrestricted textbox
• Change: The ‘No Transaction’ report now includes
  further selection options to determine how to apply search conditions to
  Contacts that are not linked to a Company
• Change: Support for the old Crystal Reports IX
  has been disabled by default in favour of the new Legrand Report Designer.

  User Preferences.
