Legrand Software Conference Sydney (21/04/2010)
Legrand Software hosted partners from around Australia and New Zealand last week in Darling Harbour, Sydney. The conference included discussion on the development roadmap and market positioning of the product. Chris Corbett attended on behalf of ABA.
Version 6 of Legrand CRM will include a wealth of new features and is scheduled for release towards June this year. The new release will include many enhancements including the addition of new quotations function within the opportunities module, the ability to support any number of company addresses and automated phone number formatting. Full list of changes will become available closer to release.
ABA were also delighted to be recognised by Legrand Software for outstanding sales in 2009/10. The picture below shows Chris with Alain Legrand and fellow partner Richard Zielinski receiving their sales awards.
ABA extend product range to include QuoteWerks (08/01/2010)
ABA have recently been approved as a reseller and development partner of QuoteWerks.
QuoteWerks is a US developed package which is a specialist quoting solution. Used by busiensses of 1 to 1000+ users worldwide, QuoteWerks offers flexibile functions on the preparation and formatting of quote and proposal documentation. Additionally QW is designed to ease and automate many aspects of the quotation process.

ABA have also developed a background utility that provides integration between QuoteWerks and Legrand CRM. A demonstration of this utility can be viewed here.

ABA Company Announcement (1/09/09)
ABA has expanded into two operating entities. The new entity “Advanced Business Applications” will be utalised for our retail ABM and Legrand CRM software sales and support.
Applied Business Applications will continue to operate with the focus on the development, sale and support of the APEM product suite.
All existing support contracts will operate without change. Renewals and new contracts will be through “Advanced Business Applications” for non APEM sites while all APEM sites including those operating ABM will be through “Applied Business Applications”.
